Research infrastructure to accelerate change for kidney patients
It is estimated that 7.2 million people in the UK are living with chronic kidney disease, and of those 30,000 rely on dialysis. Research is helping kidney patients to have longer, healthier lives, but we want to go further, faster.
NURTuRE is a world-unique resource that brings together rich multi-omics and biological data with current clinical data and high-quality samples from nearly 4,000 patients with kidney disease (so far).
We aim to change the lives of kidney disease patients and their families.
NURTuRE is open for research applications
Researchers from all settings including universities, the NHS and commercial organisations can now apply for access to the consented biological samples and data in NURTuRE.
All applications will be subject to our full review and approvals process
